Rescuing the Shipwreck (RV Heraclitus)
The marine environmental technologies research vessel, Heraclitus, has a long history of preserving marine cultures and enhancing ecosystems. In an effort to document the oral history of the inhabitants of the Red Sea and preserve cultural heritage, the Foundation cooperated with Ecotechnics marine company, Ltd., by providing the necessary resources to rehabilitate the Ecotechnics research vessel for the Red Sea to conduct the necessary research and studies on the rare marine environment and to document the history and culture of the Red Sea.
