Restoring “the oldest map showing the location of the Kingdom”

The Marciana Library, located in Piazza San Marco on the island of Venice; the oldest library in the world and one of the 3 most important libraries in Italy, preserves two maps that hold historical and geographical value. These are the most important geographical maps in the world, hence the Foundation provided financial support to restore and improve the map of “Fra Mauro” and the map of “Hajj Ahmed” and equipped them for public display.
