Turtle Conservation on the Red Sea
Saudi Arabia contains important nesting sites for turtles in the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf, where sea turtles are one of the indicators of the integrity of the ecosystem, and contribute to biodiversity. Therefore, the Foundation is working on an initiative that aims to find a reserve to preserve sea turtles from extinction and enhance the integrity of the ecosystem.

The initiative also targets the following:
- 20٪ Increase the turtle nesting rates at Ras Baridi
- 800 visits to the turtle nesting visitor center by 2024
- 25٪ – 30٪ Increase the survival rate of young turtles .
